Match Day FAQs

What is MATCH DAY? 

 A one-day event, hosted by Coffeyville Area Community Foundation, which will provide $40,000 in “match” money for contributions given to support 20 different nonprofit organizations in our community. CACF, The Bernard & Effie Jo Wade Family Foundation, and the Pratt Family Charitable Fund are partnering to provide the match money.

When and Where is MATCH DAY?  

Wednesday, November 15, 2018 from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.  (Online from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM) Perkins Building, Downtown Coffeyville Plaza and online

How and Where do I donate? 

Contributions made by check or cash in-person will be accepted at the Perkins Building.   Donations may also be made online at www.givematchgrow.com

Which nonprofit organizations are participating? 

20 different nonprofit organizations are participating.  A complete list is attached, and, can be found on our website:  www.coffeyvillefoundation.org.

Is there a minimum or maximum donation amount? 

There is no minimum or maximum gift amount.  Match money will be distributed to each fund on a percentage basis of the total donations for the day

What percentage of my donation will the organization receive?

100% of your gift will go to your selected organizations’ endowed fund at CACF, which will be used to supplement the organization in perpetuity.  The organization may choose to endow or use the match immediately.

To whom should my check be made payable?

Checks should be made payable to CACF with the charity or charities noted on the memo line.  A contribution form noting your choice of nonprofit organizations to be credited with your contribution will be available at the event, and online: www.givematchgrow.com

Can I make a donation to more than one organization?

Yes.  You can support any or all of the organizations listed.

Can my gift be private?  Is my gift tax deductible?

Yes, you can choose for your gift to be made anonymously.  Yes, your gift is 100% tax deductible as allowable by law.
