Honoring Every Veteran. Preserving Every Name.
The Coffeyville Veterans Memorial Park Association (CVMPA) is a registered public
501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring the men and women who have
served our country—past, present, and future.
The Need
Our current Veterans Memorial has reached its capacity.
At this time, the monument displays 767 names, yet many deserving veterans are not
represented on the wall where they belong. Each year, additional names are identified
through burial flag placements, historical records, and community requests. These veterans
deserve permanent recognition—not temporary remembrance.
To ensure no veteran is forgotten, the CVMPA is raising funds to construct a larger
memorial monument that will:
• Accommodate hundreds of additional names
• Preserve the legacy of those already honored
• Provide space for future generations of veterans
Project Cost & Urgency
Based on 2025 estimates, the cost of expanding the memorial is approximately $350,000.
For many years, this project has been sustained through volunteer labor and public
donations, which have helped fund flags, paint, rope, clips, and routine upkeep. However,
the demand has now exceeded what volunteer efforts alone can support. The need for
expansion is no longer optional—it is overdue.

Every name on the memorial represents a life of service, sacrifice, and commitment to our
nation. Honoring veterans is not limited to remembering the fallen—it is about recognizing
all who served, ensuring their names are permanently and publicly honored.
Our committee meetings begin with the Pledge of Allegiance and Prayer, reflecting our deep
respect for those who came before us and those who continue to serve.
