Specific Need

The Midland Theater Foundation is thrilled to announce the final phase of our restoration journey, focusing on the heart of the theater—the auditorium, where the magic truly happens. After reopening the Front of the House in spring 2024 and completing the backstage in fall 2024, we are closer than ever to fully restoring this community treasure. Funds raised from this point forward will transform the auditorium, bringing us closer to reimagining the Midland as a focal point for the arts and entertainment. The Midland will once again captivate audiences and create lasting memories for our community.  

Mission

The Midland Theater and Event Center is a not-for-profit organization formed to encourage the renovation and redevelopment of the former Midland Theater and Alamo buildings to be used as an economic development driver in downtown and provide a place where people of all ages and abilities can enjoy the arts, community activities, workshops, trainings, meetings, conferences, and other special events.

The vision of the Midland Theater Foundation is to provide a venue to promote economic development and tourism in downtown Coffeyville, in order for both residents and visitors to have quality experiences that enrich, educate, and entertain.
