Specific Need
Our greatest needs right now are toys for the children. Last year we served 205 families with 533 children. Each child receives a few gifts from their wish list along with two outfits of clothing plus hats and gloves. We also provided meat and a couple of small items for seniors and singles who are in need. These small items may include a blanket, socks and household essentials such as toilet paper. A total of 325 families (including seniors) received a $75 food card to a local grocery store and meat. Overall we served 1058 people in the local community.
Other projects include supporting two local food pantries, scholarships to CCC, help with utilities, prescriptions, etc for those in need and school supplies for over 250 Coffeyville students.
